A wedding we spun earlier this year in Atlantic City was recently featured in Brides Magazine’s New Jersey edition. Mike and I were honored in more than just the awesome feature! We have known Michael (the groom) for well over 10 years and saw him grow from the college kid at our parties back then into the accomplished man that he is today. It was extra special to provide the soundtrack to his wedding from the ceremony in the afternoon to the last dance!

And lastly shout out to one of the most unique and well run venues in Atlantic City, the gorgeous and modern looking One Atlantic!

Getting FAN MAIL never gets old!  This is why we do what we do!  And congrats to Heather & Sam on the newest addition to their family, TWINS!

Dear Simon,

Thanks to you and Mike for your excellent DJing at our wedding!  We appreciate the time you took with us before the wedding day, helping us pick songs for the reception – you guys did a great job mixing the songs we’d picked out ourselves with your recommendations.  Our guests had a great time dancing at the reception b/c of you guys.  Great job on the cocktail hour songs, as well!  We love how you customized everything to our tastes with the songs, as well as the emceeing!

An oldie but goodie!  HAPPY THANKSGIVING from The Remixologists!

This comes a few days late as weddings, private events, and the holiday season are all coming together in a perfect storm of sorts (and quite literally in my apartment… it’s a MESS… which wifey can attest to… yikes!)

We are proud to have a wedding featured on Hi-Fi Weddings once again!  When I first met with Matt & Rupal (both music lovers!), they threw everything but the kitchen sink at me!  They wanted a traditional Indian ceremony followed by a cocktail party followed by a Catholic ceremony followed by the reception (all in different spaces no less) and wanted everything from hip hop, indie rock, 80s, 90s, and a little of everything else, including a healthy dose of Indian music.

A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Matt & Rupal’s Diverse Dance Party

We helped Eric & Jessica celebrate their nuptials in August down in the Virginia area this past August.  Oh yeah, it was during Hurricane Irene when rain and winds were pouring down like CRAZY!  We’ve dealt with light winds and even rain during an outdoor ceremony before, but never a FRIGGING HURRICANE!  Thankfully we made it to/from the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel safely and that building is rock solid and well covered.  Once everybody made it there (ceremony was at a church) and got some food and drinks in them, they danced the night away!

Aren’t the table numbers (3D!) and paper mache Totoro super adorable?  Jessica made them all herself!  Crazy good!
