How do you show the essence of a wedding? Through music and visuals of course! And this is a good one! Rachael & Adam found us randomly on the web and proceeded to book us for their wedding at The Mansion at Ridley Creek about 25 miles outside Philadelphia. We handled the sound for their outdoor ceremony as well as the reception, and ROCKED IT! And as you’ll see in the video, Rachael, Adam, and their family and friends got SOUL!

Happy New Year folks!

Last fall we spun a housewarming party in SoHo (think 3 story penthouse… pretty big for New York City standards if you ask me… or ALMOST anyone in NYC)! We provided sound coverage on all 3 floors plus 2 outdoor terraces (shout out to Mike for sound engineering) and had the turntables and mixer centrally stationed on the 2nd floor. There were certainly a few complaints from the neighbors that night.

With the music bumping plus 3 full bars (one on each floor) and a private chef preparing tasty concoctions such as toasted raviolis, sushi & sashimi, and homemade potato chips with caviar and creme fraiche, the party was BANANAS! When it came time to wind things down at 3am, well… it didn’t. We were asked to keep rocking for another hour… and we happily obliged!

And the best part of the night? THE PEOPLE! These were some of the most interesting, best dressed, and NICEST folks around! You had fashion designers and DJs from Japan mingling with bankers from Europe hobnobbing and Nigerian oil tycoons. CRAZY DIVERSE!

What’s a holiday season without a parting gift? Here’s a mix I put together (Top 40/Hip Hop/Electro) for my friend’s holiday party to be played after a dozen or so Christmas tunes and drinks. A wedding we spun earlier this year in Atlantic City was recently featured in Brides Magazine’s New Jersey edition. Mike and I were honored in more than just the awesome feature! We have known Michael (the groom) for well over 10 years and saw him grow from the college kid at our parties back then into the accomplished man that he is today. It was extra special to provide the soundtrack to his wedding from the ceremony in the afternoon to the last dance!

And lastly shout out to one of the most unique and well run venues in Atlantic City, the gorgeous and modern looking One Atlantic!

Getting FAN MAIL never gets old!  This is why we do what we do!  And congrats to Heather & Sam on the newest addition to their family, TWINS!

Thanks to you and Mike for your excellent DJing at our wedding!  We appreciate the time you took with us before the wedding day, helping us pick songs for the reception – you guys did a great job mixing the songs we’d picked out ourselves with your recommendations.  Our guests had a great time dancing at the reception b/c of you guys.  Great job on the cocktail hour songs, as well!  We love how you customized everything to our tastes with the songs, as well as the emceeing!
