Lisa & Tom’s Wild Dance Party Wedding at the Rosewood Crescent in Dallas!

No Comments Real Weddings By: taiga

Lisa & Tom had their wedding celebration at the beautiful Rosewood Crescent Hotel in Dallas last Spring.  The wifey and I flew out to Dallas and I pulled triple duty as emcee/DJ/guest again!  It was totally worth it.  Not only did we help our friends celebrate their wedding, we got to indulge in MORE TEXAS BBQ (Rudy’s anyone?)

And what’s better than a wedding with a wild dance party?  A wedding with a wild dance party in TEXAS of course!  DUH!  Check out these AWESOME pictures courtesy of John Christopher Photographs!

Fan Mail from Tracy & Brian!

We’ve known Tracy & Brian for many years as they’ve frequented many a parties we’ve DJ’d for our alma mater back in the day.  It’s only fitting that we helped them celebrate their nuptials at The Palace at Somerset Park in NJ on a sunny summer day. From the outdoor terrace ceremony to the ballroom reception, we rocked the sound and gave them a great mid day party!  Thanks for the kind words and see you guys soon! :)

Dear Mike,

Thank you so much for being part of our big day in so many ways!  It was a crazy hectic day, but we wanted to make sure you knew how much we appreciate everything you did for us.  Everyone had a great time, and it was even more special to have you DJing and MCing!  We look forward to more happy memories with you in the future – let us know when you’re in NY/NJ!

Love,
Tracy & Brian

Candice & Matt’s Brooklyn Wedding Celebration at ReBar!

No Comments Real Weddings By: taiga

Ain’t no party like a Brooklyn party cuz a Brooklyn party don’t stop!  Literally!

When I first met with Matt & Candice, I knew their wedding was going to be quirky AND awesome!  One, it was in Brooklyn.  Two, it was going to be a free form cocktail party reception.  And three, their CRAZY musical tastes ranged from Indie, Country, the Sister Act soundtrack, and songs with the word POWER in it (groom’s last name)!  So random yet so awesome!

And what a great night it was!  Folks danced and sang along to their favorite songs all night!  And when it came time to end the night, the bride & groom got on the mic, thanked everybody and then led a chant of “ONE MORE HOUR!  ONE MORE HOUR!” And one more hour they got!  I wish I was joking, but I got home around 4am that night morning!

One of these days I’m going to post a video up from this awesome wedding.  But until then, please enjoy these AWESOME pictures courtesy of Jessica Lavoie!  She captured the essence of Matt & Candice’s love, spontaneity, and silliness SO WELL!

P.S.  If Candice looks familiar, it because she’s a top model who’s featured regularly in fine publications such as Vogue Italia & W Magazine!

P.P.S.  I LOVED the fact that Candice had sneakers ready for the reception! In my humble opinion,  THE BEST (AND MOST COMFORTABLE) DANCING SHOES!

A Candid Dance Floor Picture!

Here’s a little something from the archives

This was a GREAT picture taken by a family member or friend at Andrew & Renata’s wedding up in Connecticut (you might remember the wedding from our videos).  Even though it misses on pretty much every technical element (ie. lighting, focus, etc), it didn’t need ANY of that.  This picture is just filled with SO MUCH raw energy and EXCITEMENT!  It warms my heart AND pumps me up to remember such a great time being had by all!

A packed dance floor = Happy Remixologists! :)
